Well, he’s been working on it for a while… a long while, actually. BUT, he’s finally gained the confidence to move onward. Yes, Evin has started walking. This is a short clip of his new skillz. He doesn’t walk much in this video, but it’s so cute. I couldn’t resist posting it.

Isn’t my hubby the best? On a stop to pick up celery for dinner, he managed to squeeze some lovely roses into the trip.

What a sweetie.

Every once in a while we shove a pacifier into Evin’s mouth in hopes of getting him stuck on that instead of his thumb. We even suck on it ourselves thinking he’ll mimic us. Well, it may be working. The other night, while I was getting him dressed for bed, he grabbed the pacifier and decided to try it out for a bit. It didn’t last long but it left us wondering, is this the beginning of something beautiful?

What’s Halloween without carving pumpkins? NOT MUCH. And Evin got to experience the whole thing by getting his first pumpkin carving lesson from his Dad. And he was a HUGE help… active in the whole process.

Today Evin and I went to the Zoo with Gma and Gpa J. It was a much better experience now that he’s older. He didn’t see all of the animals, but if it moved then it was easily spotted. The best part is that when he saw the ducks he started quacking at them all on his own. I’m getting him to do it in this video, but that’s because I couldn’t resist getting him quacking on camera.
