These pics are old because Evin actually went to the eye doctor back in March, but I must have forgotten to post them!
Here are pics from his very first eye appointment. He passed with flying colors…

Katelyn’s a pretty funny little girl. I can’t help but get caught up in her expressions and movements. On this day, I just photographed a mini-moment with her.
This was about 5 minutes of our day.

I mentioned earlier in our 365 post that Katelyn had her first day of daycare. I actually thought it warranted its own post. Probably because it bothered me so much. I really don’t think she minded being there, but I was sad and emotional the entire time. Did she cry when she realized I was gone? I’ll never know, but I do know that she didn’t sleep or eat well. All to be expected from the girl that is easily distracted. This will definitely be harder than I thought when we actually have to leave her there in June.
For Katelyn’s entire life I’ve fed her a bottle in silence, because with any noise or distraction she will refuse to eat. I guess that doesn’t really help her daycare experience. My only hope is that I can wean her from the bottle a little before she’s a year so that this isn’t an issue. Her first trial day was in the infant room, but when she actually starts she’ll be in the Twaddler 1 room. So, things will be different in that room for sure. Time to start prepping her for twaddler-dom, I guess.
Anywho, here are some pics from her… erg… my 1st traumatic day at daycare.
