Well, today is Evin’s 2nd birthday. When I woke him up and told him that today was his birthday, he looked up me and gave me a big smile. I had totally underestimated his understanding of the big day. He knew that it was something special, for sure!
So, in true momarazzi fashion, I attempted to get a picture of him holding up two fingers while smiling at the camera. And in true two year old Evin fashion, he decided to inspect his Sponge Bob Band-Aids instead.

During his day with Gma J, he got to do one of his favorite things: go to the aquarium. After that, he came to my work and we got to have lunch together. Thank you Gma J for making his day that much more special! He had a great time (and so did I!)
Then after a long, hard day of play, I picked him up from Gma and Gpa J’s and we took him to Chuck E Cheeses’. He played, ate pizza, blew out the candles on his cake and ate it up. Yum!
It’s amazing how much he’s changed since last year… he’s definitely made some progress, for sure.

He didn’t cry over his cake this year, but we do have some things to work on–like blowing out the candles without burning his face.

More from the year two fun and cakening…
